Whenever a new set of Star Wars toys is announced, fans have come to expect to see characters in some sort of armor. Be it Mandalorian armor, stormtrooper armor, or Clone Trooper armor, toy companies love it because all they have to do is make a new head and reuse an old body. It’s a cheat on 99% of occasions. But, this figure may just be that 1% where we’re totally fine with it.
Hot Toys just announced it’s doing a Sixth Scale Obi-Wan Kenobi figure in Mandalorian armor. When did Obi-Wan wear Mandaloran armor, you ask? Well, during season five of The Clone Wars in the episode “The Lawless.” He puts it on when he defies the Jedi to try and rescue his friend Satine from Maul on Mandalore. But, even if you aren’t intimately aware of that episode, this figure is badass anyway.
