Deadline reports Paul Walter Hauser has joined the cast of the new Fantastic Four in a currently undisclosed role.
The Exorcist
Deadline reports that Mike Flanagan is currently in talks with Universal and Blumhouse to direct the next film in its Exorcist reboot, taking over from David Gordon Green.
Weapons
Deadline also reports Benedict Wong, Amy Madigan, Austin Abrams and Cary Christopher are the latest to join the cast of Zach Cregger’s Weapons.

According to Entertainment Weekly, “Max and his beloved car, the Interceptor, make a humorously appropriate blink-and-you’ll-miss-it cameo” in Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.

According to Deadline, Louis Letterier is attached to direct 11817, a sci-fi horror film in which an “inexplicable force traps a family of four inside their house indefinitely. As both modern luxuries and life or death essentials begin to run out, the family must learn how to be resourceful to survive and outsmart who — or what — is keeping them trapped.”
Onslaught
Deadline additionally has word Adam Wingard is attached to direct Onslaught, an “action thriller” said to be “in the vein of The Guest and You’re Next” at A24.

The Pope’s Exorcist producer Jeff Katz confirmed a sequel is officially moving forward on Twitter.
